Where should I park?

The closest garage is Lily Park. GBMC also offers complimentary valet service at the Obstetrics entrance for GBMC patients. This service is provided Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 Pm, except for holidays or during adverse weather conditions.

Campus Parking Fees:

First 30 minutes: FREE

31 to 60 minutes: $3.00

61 to 180 minutes (1-3 hours): $4.00

181 minutes to 360 minutes (3-6 hours): $6.00

Maximum daily rate is: $6.00

Passes are sold in Radiation Oncology, The Corner Shop, The Boutique, The Parent Connection, General Operating Room Admitting, and Patient Support Services.

How many visitors can I have during labor and delivery?

Five visitors are allowed during labor and three during delivery. Two visitors will be allowed in the OR or PACU area.

What are visiting hours?

Visiting hours in postpartum are 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Who can visit?

Four visitors, plus the significant other are allowed in the room. No children under 12 are permitted, except siblings of the newborn.

What are the rules for siblings when visiting?

Children are not permitted in the hallway alone, and must stay in the patient's room while visiting. Children must not have cold symptoms or illness and may not stay overnight.

What kinds of things should I pack in my overnight bag?

Some common items include:

  • Chapstick
  • Toothbrush
  • Socks
  • Music
  • Diversions, such as cards, games, or books
  • Camera
