Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery

Performing endoscopic skull base surgery takes a team of an otolaryngologist and neurosurgeon. The otolaryngologist creates a minimally invasive approach for the neurosurgeon through the nose. Using small surgical instruments, cameras and video equipment, the neurosurgeon is able to remove the tumor without creating facial incisions or damaging other areas of the skull.

This approach may not be right for all patients and tumors. It's important that you talk to your doctor to see if this surgery is right for you.
