CPOE
What is CPOE?
Computerized provider order entry (CPOE), is a process of electronic entry of medical practitioner instructions for the treatment of patients. At GBMC, order entry will be through our currently existing Meditech system.
Training Information:
- Training MUST BE COMPLETED prior to receiving access to CPOE.
- Please reserve your date/time as space is limited.
- Training is held at GBMC in the MIS training room on the 5th floor (around the corner from SICU and the credit untion).

General Training
These classes are for new providers in medicine, medicine sub-specialty, labor and delivery or surgery. New providers will not receive hospital privileges until they attend a CPOE class. This can be done in advance of credentialing. (New Emergency Department providers need a different training class. Please contact cpoe@gbmc.org to request a session.)
