The Division of Rheumatology diagnoses and treats all forms of arthritis and other autoimmune disorders such as lupus, vasculitis and scleroderma. Newer drug regimens offer increased efficacy in preventing the progression or alleviating symptoms of these disorders. Working closely with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists also coordinate various facets of care for patients undergoing joint replacement.
