The Department of Otolaryngology at GBMC specializes in treating patients who have problems with the ears, nose and throat.
The Department's capabilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating hearing deficits and sinusitis
- Inserting PR tubes
- Performing tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies and videostroboscopy
- Somnoplasty for snoring
- Major head and neck procedures, including cancer treatment
For cases that require special hearing evaluation and assessment, patients are seen by certified audiologists from GBMC's Division of Audiology. The Division provides complete hearing health care services to infants, children and adults and has access to medical support staff who have advanced training in the treatment of patients with fearing deficits and disorders.
