School of Radiography

The School of Radiography is a 23 continuous month certificate program. It is accredited by the Chicago-based Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.

The curriculum provides instruction in:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Radiation Physics
  • Osteology
  • Topographic Anatomy
  • Medical Terminology
  • Processing
  • Radiation Protection
  • Radiographic Positioning
  • Image Production & Evaluation
  • Radiographic Film Evaluation
  • Patient Care and other related courses.

Since clinical experience is a vital and integral part of the educational process, the student participates in a Clinical Competency Testing program. To enhance the students clinical education, the student will be required to travel to other facilities to participate in radiographic examinations.
