Chief, Thoracic Surgery
Dr. Neri M. Cohen is board certified in both Cardiothoracic Surgery as well as General Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Cohen graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988 with a medical degree and a PhD in Physiology. After completing his residency and a fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, he continued his training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He moved back to Maryland in 2003. Dr. Milman is board-certified in general surgery. He received his medical degree from Cornell Medical College and completed his residency in general surgery at Brown University School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardio-thoracic surgery at Rush University Medical Center. He has extensive training in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgical management of diseases of the foregut. Besides the full scope of thoracic surgery, he also has a special interest in endobronchial therapies and brachytherapy.
