The health care team consists of highly trained specialists in the fields of vascular surgery, plastic surgery, general surgery, podiatry, and internal medicine allowing for a more comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach.  Each physician has been specialty-trained in wound management.

Ravi Aloor, MD Board-certified Plastic Surgery A graduate of Osmania Medical College, Dr. Aloor has been in practice since 1980 specializing in plastic surgery. Brent Birely, MD, PA Board-certified Plastic Surgery A graduate of University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Birely completed his residency at Union Memorial Hospital of Baltimore and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Brian J. Belgin, DPM Board-certified Podiatric Surgery: Foot Surgery A graduate of Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Belgin has been in practice since 2004 specializing in podiatric surgery. David P. Coll, MD, FACS Board-certified General Vascular Surgery A graduate of University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Coll has been in practice since 1997 specializing in comprehensive adult vascular surgery. Richard Franklin, MD, PA Board-certified in General Surgery / Wound Care Certified / Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Certified A graduate of he University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Franklin completed his general surgery residency at Union Memorial Hospital of Baltimore. Carter Freiburg, MD Board-certified in Vascular and General Surgery Dr. Freiburg earned his medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care and a vascular surgery fellowship at Yale University. Alan L. Kimmel, MD Board-certified Internal Medicine A graduate of University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Kimmel has been in practice since 1979, specializing in internal medicine. Peter Mackrell, MD Board-certified in Vascular and General Surgery Dr. Mackrell received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Cornell University Medical Center and vascular surgical fellowship at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Zacharias V. Mavrophilipos, MD Board-certified General Surgery A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Mavrophillipos has been in practice since 1991, specializing in general surgery.

Ziad K. Mirza, MD Board-certified Internal Medicine A graduate of American University of Beirut, Dr. Mirza has been in practice since 1992, specializing in internal medicine. Dr. Mirza is boarded by the American Board of Preventive Medicine subspecialty in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine (ABPM/UHM). Dr Mirza is one of only eight physicians in Maryland certified in this specialty. Rajesh V. Raikar, MD Board-certified Vascular Surgery A graduate of University of Bombay, Dr. Raikar has been in practice since 1976, specializing in vascular surgery. John B. Richardson, MD Board-certified Vascular Surgery A graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Richardson has been in practice sine 1978, specializing in vascular surgery. Adam Silverman, DPM Board-certified Podiatric Surgery A graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Silverman has been in practice since 2007, specializing in podiatry care. Kuldip Uberoi, MBBS, MD, BS Board-certified in General Surgery A graduate of The Medical College of Amritsar in India, Dr. Uberoi completed his general surgery residency and clinical fellowship in general surgery at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. Dr. Uberoi has served as a contract surgeon at GBMC since 1981. Kristian Ulloa, MD Board-certified in Vascular and General Surgery A graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, Dr. Ulloa completed a General Surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at University of Maryland Medical System.
