The Harmony BTE processor is now available. It includes new features such as a built-in telecoil and built-in LED monitoring system as well as battery life that has doubled. The Harmony is also compatiable with the 120 software. All CII Bionic Ear and HiRes 90K patients will have trade-in options available to them if they wish to upgrade. Patients will be contacted directly from Advanced Bionics regarding the trade-in options.
The Listening Room:
A new resource is now available to professionals, parents and adults to assist with learning to use their implant. The Listening Room can be located at www.HearingJourney.com. This website offers games and activities for all ages. Material will be updated on a weekly and monthly basis and offers articles, handouts, songs and activities. The items are easy to download and print and video clips will offer instructions. Take a look!

Introducing New Pediatric Options:
Nucleus Freedom Babyworn system provides to wearing options using the standard BTE controller. This system is modular, allowing the controller to be worn on the body by an alligator clip, safety pin or hook and loop system. The Snugfit system can be used to help keep the processor in place and may be worn with or without the Babyworn system. A tamper-resistant battery holder and removal tool are also available for both the standard and mini BTE zinc air batteries.
