The Division of Pulmonary Medicine addresses lung diseases including: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD), asthma, lung cancer, pneumonias, inhalation of toxic agents and immunological diseases. Other aspects include sleep disorders, obesity and respiratory failure. An on-site Pulmonary Function Lab assesses lung function and oxygen levels in blood at rest and with exercise. The Division’s intensivist program supervises patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
