GBMC IRB FEE SCHEDULE
The IRB will charge a submission fee for each protocol reviewed. The fee will vary according to the specific type of review required as described in section VII of the IRB Bylaws. The fee schedule below shall be amended from time to time without advanced notice to investigator(s), by a majority vote of the IRB. Review fees are due at the time of the initial protocol submission or prior to a Continuing Review. No protocols will be reviewed until the appropriate fee is received. All fees collected will be in the form of checks. No cash payments will be accepted.
The IRB will waive the submission fee for Residents and Fellows working at GBMC for the duration of this status, subject to verification of this status through the GBMC Medical Staff Office.
Full Board Review
- Initial Review of a New Protocol: $500.00
- Continuing Review for renewal or closure: $100.00
Expedited /Administrative Review by Chairman: $150.00
- Minimal risk protocol
- Database/Registry
- Retrospective Medical Records/Chart review
- Exemption from IRB oversight
- Waiver of Jurisdiction
Cooperative Research / Facilitated Review
(NCI Central IRB or designated outside IRB)
- Initial review of complete new protocol: $200.00
- Cooperative Study renewal or closure: $100.00
Review fees are due when materials are submitted for IRB review. No review fee is charged for Amendments and Revisions, Adverse Events and Safety Reports, Deviations, Advertisements.
