We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented and enthusiastic speech language pathologist with at least 2 years experience. Ideal candidate must have clinical expertise in Head and Neck Rehabilitation, Voice and Acute Medical Speech Pathology service provision experience.

The position requires independence in:

  1. Head and Neck Cancer Rehabilitation: evaluation and treatment of speech, swallowing, voice/alaryngeal voice (e.g., TEP, artificial larynx, etc.) disorders in patients with head and neck cancer including ability to perform and interpret modified barium swallow studies and endoscopic evaluation of swallow FEES (preferred).
  2. Voice: evaluation and treatment of laryngeal disorders to include the ability to perform & interpret laryngeal stroboscopic examinations, evaluation and treatment of voice disorders (e.g., aerodynamics, acoustical analysis of voice).
  3. Evaluation and treatment of adults with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders in an acute medical setting/hospital.  Experience with FEES, trach/vent and speaking valves is preferred.

The Greater Baltimore Medical Center is a teaching hospital and there are ample opportunities for continuing education, to explore your professional goals and enhance your knowledge in the field. You will join our dynamic and collaborative team within a large department of speech language pathologists of an established outpatient head and neck and voice clinic and a 325+ bed acute care hospital. A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required. Candidates must have ASHA certification and a Maryland license in Speech Language Pathology.
