Members of the Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society, the Wagners formed a close
relationship with GBMC after Mr. Wagner’s father, Philip C. Wagner,
became a patient of Dr. Marshall Levine. According to Bob, “If it weren’t
for Dr. Levine, my father would not have lived as long as he did.”

A Gift to Last a Lifetime
On April 24, 2003 it was official. Martin and Dawn Dimmerman irrevocably gifted
a 40 percent share of their $1.3 Million beachfront home on Long Beach Island,
NJ to GBMC. The planned gift represented a magnanimous gesture by the couple
to ensure the future of GBMC as one of Central Maryland’s finest hospitals.

Working at Harvard, in 1945, Barbara Hall said she took advice from her boss
that changed her life, “He said, ‘You’re a good kid, but
there is a much better job at Kirkland house.’ So, I interviewed and
got the job.”

Yaggy Members Give Back to the Community Through GBMC
For Al and Charmaine Gwynn, the saying, “Proper Prior Planning Prevents
Poor Performance,” has helped to define their lives. Towson residents
since they were married in 1965, their prudent planning is paying big dividends
as they enjoy an active retirement.

GBMC Volunteer Gives Her Time & More
Over the past 20 years, Joanne has been a patient at GBMC on many different occasions. After a major surgery, last year, she credits the GBMC team in helping her successfully battle cancer, “GBMC helped me so, in the last year, that I wanted to provide for other oncology patients to be helped like I was. This is a really neat place.”

Planning for the Next Generation
Recently, Mrs. K decided that she wanted to secure income for her son who
