Members of the Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society, the Wagners formed a close relationship with GBMC after Mr. Wagner’s father, Philip C. Wagner, became a patient of Dr. Marshall Levine. In gratitude for Dr. Cohen’s care of Elaine, Frank has contributed six Charitable Gift Annuities to GBMC. “What really makes it special is the good feeling I get from giving to an institution that gave me two years I would not have had with my wife.”
On April 24, 2003 it was official. Martin and Dawn Dimmerman irrevocably gifted a 40 percent share of their $1.3 Million beachfront home on Long Beach Island, NJ to GBMC. The planned gift represented a magnanimous gesture by the couple to ensure the future of GBMC as one of Central Maryland’s finest hospitals.
Working at Harvard, in 1945, Barbara Hall said she took advice from her boss that changed her life, “He said, ‘You’re a good kid, but there is a much better job at Kirkland house.’ So, I interviewed and got the job.” Read More About Barbara & Richard

Over the past 20 years, Joanne has been a patient at GBMC on many different occasions. After a major surgery, last year, she credits the GBMC team in helping her successfully battle cancer, “GBMC helped me so, in the last year, that I wanted to provide for other oncology patients to be helped like I was. This is a really neat place.”
Recently, Mrs. K decided that she wanted to secure income for her son who would be Christine’s co-guardian in the future. Her estate plans in the works, she reasoned that a Charitable Gift Annuity benefiting Hospice of Baltimore was the solution to her family’s needs.
