GBMC Names Towson & Bel Air Residents To Nursing Leadership Positions  

BALTIMORE, Md. –  September 17, 2007 – Greater Baltimore Medical Center announces residents of Towson and Bel Air have been appointed to new nursing leadership positions.  Gretchen Bell, RNC, of Towson has been named Clinical Manager of Labor and Delivery and High Risk Obstetrics.  Lynn Marie Bullock, RN, a Bel Air resident, has been appointed to the position of Clinical Program Manager for the H. Norman and Jeanne Baetjer Center for Nursing Excellence.

Bell began working at GBMC in Labor and Delivery in December 1996 and was promoted to the role of Clinical Partner in 2000. She has been certified in Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing since 2001.  Bell graduated from Old Dominion University in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and obtained a diploma in nursing from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (Norfolk, Virginia) in 1995.

Bullock has been employed at GBMC since October 1997 as a staff nurse in Hyperbaric Medicine, as surgical clinical educator, and as education specialist critical care.  Bullock received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University in 1993. Her clinical background is in Surgical Intensive Care/Open Heart Recovery. Bullock obtained a Master of Science and certificate in Nursing Education from Towson University in 2005.
