Paul Celano, MDPaul Celano, MD
GBMC Division Head, Medical Oncology


Dr. Celano has a particular interest in gynecologic and gastrointestinal malignancies and in breast cancer. He strives to support patients and their families by providing a clear understanding of their disease and healthcare options. He encourages patients to participate actively in their medical care decisions as a means of achieving the best quality of life. He is involved with clinical trials at the national level as well as with The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and the University of Maryland.

Madhu Chaudry, MDMadhu Chaudhry, MD
Medical Oncologist


With a special interest in breast cancer and hematology both benign and malignant, Dr. Chaudhry understands that a cancer diagnosis involves more than just the medical aspect. It also affects quality of life issues. Dr. Chaudhry believes that the practice of oncology requires an individual approach.

Gary Cohen, MD, FACPGary I. Cohen, MD, FACP
Medical Director, Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC


With special interest in hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplant, breast cancer, and melanoma, Dr. Cohen works closely with patients and their families. He is actively involved in national clinical trials. He stresses that his role is to help patients continue living, working, and achieving quality of life even with a cancer diagnosis.

Robert B. Donegan, MDRobert B. Donegan, MD
Medical Oncologist


Dr. Donegan understands that caring for a patient with cancer involves much more than simply treating the disease. Consideration of spiritual, emotional and quality of life issues is of paramount importance. Although he has a particular interest in breast cancer and hematological malignancies, he treats all types of cancers as well as benign blood disorders.

Myra Katz, PA-CMyra Katz, PA-C
Oncology Physicians Assistant


Ms. Katz has been a Physician Assistant for over 25 years. She plays a very active supportive role for the patients and the physicians in the practice, primarily Drs. Donegan and Levine. Ms. Katz believes strongly that educating patients is very important to the overall success of the cancer treatment plan. She has a keen interest in helping patients to obtain and understand information about all available options for their specific illness.

Marshall A Levine, MD, FACPMarshall A Levine, MD, FACP
Medical Oncologist


With more than 25 years of experience in oncology, Dr. Levine has a particular interest in combining three oncology activities: patient care, clinical research, and education. He believes that the practice of oncology means looking at all aspects of a patient's and family's healthcare and addressing the quality of life.

Oncology Nurse Practitioner


Paula Pearl has been a Nurse Practitioner in Oncology for more than 25 years.

Ms. Pearl's role is complementary to both physicians and nurses, incorporating medical and nursing skills into her practice. She takes an active role in the care of patients with all types of oncologic and hematologic illnesses.

Mei Tang, MDMei Tang, MD
Medical Oncologist


With particular interests in solid tumors, Dr. Tang treats all types of cancer and benign hematological diseases. She actively participates in patient care, clinical research and medical education. She believes in personalized cancer therapy and works closely with patients and their families to address both healthcare and quality of life.
