Patient Information Booklet
Many invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are preformed in Interventional Radiology. The procedures that we do may involve virtually any area of the body. They are specifically tailored to the needs of the individual patient. Our procedures either provide information that is critical to making a diagnosis, provide detailed information prior to surgery, or treat a condition in a way that is less complicated than surgery. The staff consists of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and clerical personnel who are specifically trained in this particular discipline. All patients receive an individual consultation with an Interventional Radiologist before their procedure for a detailed explanation and to answer questions.
