Thank you for choosing the Greater Baltimore Medical Center's Department of Radiology to perform your Radiological studies. We have compiled the following Patient Information Manual for your benefit. On the following pages you will find the answers to the most frequently asked questions about the most common imaging studies. This is in no way a complete guide to all aspects of the study being performed, but should start you on your way to a more comfortable level of knowledge about the unfamiliar procedure you are about to experience.
We encourage you to ask any additional questions that you may have regarding the procedures that are mentioned within this book. We, in the Radiology Department of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, want you to be comfortable during your visit with us and we feel that one of the ways for you to be comfortable is to know what will be happening to you, a family member, or a loved one.
