Arm-In-Arm - Support group for any woman with a breast cancer diagnosis. Most women are newly diagnosed, rather than with recurrent cancer. Meets once a month, usually with 4-10 women.

"Us Too" Prostate Cancer Support Group - Started in 1992, GBMC's group was the first prostate cancer support group in the area. Partners and family members are welcome. Meets once a month.
Format: the first hour is educational; the second hour is for sharing experiences. Group typically has 20-30 participants. Free, 443-849-2961.

Phoenix Bereavement Group - Started in 1984, this group is for adults who have lost a loved one, no matter what the cause of death (i.e., cancer, heart attack, accident). Meets weekly for eight sessions. Group usually has 8-10 people.

Look Good, Feel Better - Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this program helps women undergoing cancer treatments cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment, such as hair loss and changes in complexion. It helps individuals regain a sense of self-confidence. Meets the third Monday of the month. Group size is usually 6-10 women.
