Senior Services

Senior Services focuses in a comprehensive fashion toward improving the care of the frail elderly population residing in our greater community. 

The senior population comprises a significant number of people in our community and continues to grow.  Seniors face their own set of health care needs and many have multiple complex medical problems.  Senior Services at GBMC includes the Greater Geriatrics Physician Group, the Acute Care for the Elderly Unit (ACE), a Sub Acute Unit for post-hospital rehabilitation and a variety of hospital programs focused on care of the elderly.

Baltimore County's "Living Well...Take Charge of Your Health" Program
The "Living Well...Take Charge of Your Health" program from the Baltimore County Department of Aging is a free program available to adults 18 and older who have a chronic disease or live with someone who does. Explore a new way to make sure we get the most out of our lives and get the knowledge to be in charge of your own health.
