Spiritual Support Services
The Chaplain and the Office of Spiritual Support Services welcome you to Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
During your visit we pray you will encounter healing and peace, as you experience support and reassurance.
To journey, pray and be present with you.
To encourage healing when your spirit is stretched.
To offer religious services and times for worship according to your religious belief.
A member of the Spiritual Support Team will visit you soon after your admission. During the visit, there may be times when you value a team member's presence.
You feel imprisoned by your pain.
You want a calm for your fearful heart.
You are absorbed by the struggles of life.
You desire to share love and understanding.
You hunger for holiness and understanding.
You are touched by the beauty of life.
You are mending or reconciling relationships.
You sense wholeness and are filled with peace.
The Chaplain and the Spiritual team are dedicated to bringing spiritual support and emotional reassurance to you and your family during your hospital stay.
We believe that one of the greatest gifts we can provided for you is listening. Short periods of quiet companionship may provide opportunities for you to speak your concerns. Whatever your situation may be, we are here to encourage and spiritually support you.
At your request, your Pastor/Rabbi/Priest or Imam can be notified of your hospitalization. A visit may be arranged from your denominational representative.

In our busy, distracting world there are times when we hunger for a quiet, safe place to be alone for prayer and reflection. The Chapel may be that place for you to come away and rest awhile. Located on the third floor near the Main Lobby, the Chapel is open 24-hours-a-day for personal and devotional prayer.
