| | Joel Turner, M.D. Dr. Turner has lived in Baltimore for over 25 years and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Maryland Hospital. In addition, he obtained further training in advanced laparoscopic procedures during his fellowship, also at the University of Maryland Hospital. During residency and fellowship he was exposed to a broad range of advanced laparoscopic procedures involving solid organs (spleen, kidney, adrenal) as well as hollow organs (stomach, small bowel, large bowel). In addition, he received training in endocrine surgery from one of the states busiest endocrine surgeons, Dr. William Scovill. Dr. Turner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and is an active member in the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. | | | | | | | | | . | | | |
