| Urology
The physicians in the Urology Division cover the complete range of urologic practice with special expertise in the evaluation and treatment of urologic tumors, stone disease, urinary infection and urinary control. The division members support the gynecology department in managing infertility. Most of the members of the division have an interest and special training in pediatric work, and all the members are knowledgable in hte management of male sexual dysfunction. GBMC's Divisions and Departments of Interventional Radiology, Radiation and Medical Oncology and Assisted Reproduction assist the Division in providing urological care at the highest level of expertise.
- Oncology (treatment of tumors) - The combined practices of the division exceeds the experience treating tumors of any hospital in Maryland.
- Urinary control & voiding problems - The division supports state of the art diagnostic equipment, and many of its members have a special interest in this area.
- Infertility - All members of the division do general infertility work and several members have training in advanced techniques.
- Stone disease - The division has outstanding equipment to manage stone problems with minimal intervention. GBMC is one of the general partners in the Maryland Kidney Stone Center where stones are treated with shock wave techniques.
