Michael Sellman, MD -- Neurology
Dr. Sellman is Chief of GBMC's Division of Neurology and the Primary Stroke Center at GBMC. Dr. Sellman graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency there. He was a fellow of Electromyography and Clinical Neurophysiology at Academic Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden and University of Maryland. Board-certified in Neurology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, his interests are in both Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular disorders. Before joining GBMC, Dr. Sellman served as Chief of the Division of Neurology at Mercy Medical Center since 2002.
Dr Kaplan is Chairman of the Otolaryngology Center of Excellence at GBMC and Surgical Director of GBMC's Thyroid Center. Board-certified in otolaryngology, Dr. Kaplan received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Kaplan's past research interests have included hearing loss, chronic sinusitis, and facial reconstruction. He currently practices the full scope of ENT, with particular interest in pediatrics, otology, and sinus disease.

Alan Kimmel, MD -- Internal Medicine
Dr. Kimmel is the Medical Director of the Greater Baltimore Center for Rehabilitation Medicine. He completed comprehensive training as a Lymphologist at the Klose Lymphedema Certification Program at Harvard Medical School. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. As an attending physician at the Greater Baltimore Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center, Dr. Kimmel became the driving force behind the creation of the Greater Baltimore Lymphedema Center which has rapidly become one of the nation's leading referral centers for complex Lymphedema patients. The Center has continued to expand and now encompasses a full spectrum of rehabilitation a services.
Virginia Moratz, OTR, CHT, CLT -- Rehabilitation Therapy
Virginia Moratz, Administrator of the Greater Baltimore Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, holds a degree in psychology and is an occupational therapy graduate of Boston University. With 42 years of experience, Ginny is a renowned leader, innovator and educator in her field. She has been a board-certified hand therapist since 1991. She was trained in lymphedema management at Klose-Norton Training and Consulting in 1998 and received the Recognition of Excellence Award, the highest honor awarded from the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association.

Ruth Horowitz, MD -- Endocrinology
Dr. Horowitz received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Diabetes and Metabolism, Dr. Horowitz completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Maryland Medical System. She then spent five years on the faculty of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and was a part time Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She joined Bay West Endocrinology in 1999. Her interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and lipid disorders.
Justin Kotler, MS, RD. LDN, CDE, is a Registered Dietitian, Maryland Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and Certified Diabetes Educator. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. Mr. Kotler's areas of expertise include diabetes, weight management, health and wellness, and sports nutrition. His experience includes positions as a coordinator of nutrition services at the Washington DC Veterans Administration Medical Center and wellness coordinator for the CSX Transportation Wellness Project in Bloomington, Indiana. Additionally, Mr. Kotler has served as a nutrition and wellness coach in the Baltimore metro area. He is a member of the volunteer faculty for Baltimore Fitness Academy (BMorefit) where he provides underprivileged youth with the nutritional knowledge needed for lifelong health.
