Kevin Ferentz, MD: Family Medicine
Kevin S. Ferentz, MD, is a family medicine physician within the GBMC at Owings Mills practice. Dr. Ferentz earned his medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore where he was chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in faculty development and obstetrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center and St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Ferentz served on the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine for 25 years where he held several positions including the Residency Director for the Department of Family Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Ferentz served as Chief Medical Officer for Baltimore Medical System, Inc. and as a site medical director at Chase-Brexton Health Services. Learn more...

Ruth S. Horowitz, MD, received her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She went on to complete both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Maryland College of Medicine. She then spent five years on the faculty of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and was a part time Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She joined Bay Endocrinology in 1999. She is board certified in both, Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist and the American College of Physicians. Her interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and lipid disorders.
Joel Turner, MD, Vice Chairman of the department of surgery as well as the Chief of Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Dr. Turner received his medical degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Maryland Hospital. In addition, he obtained further training in advanced laparoscopic procedures during his fellowship, also at the University of Maryland Hospital. During residency and fellowship he was exposed to a broad range of advanced laparoscopic procedures involving solid organs (spleen, kidney, adrenal) as well as hollow organs (stomach, small bowel, large bowel). In addition, he received extensive training in endocrine surgery from one of the states busiest endocrine surgeons, Dr. William Scovill. His practice specializes in endocrine and advanced laparoscopic procedures ( Nissen Fundoplication, Heller Myotomy, ventral hernia repair) as well as general surgery. He has extensive experience in endocrine surgery (thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, laparoscopic adrenalectomy) having performed over 1700 endocrine cases while at GBMC.

Raya Wehbeh, MD: Sleep Medicine
Raya Wehbeh, MD, is a sleep medicine physician within GBMC’s Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Practice. Dr. Wehbeh received her medical degree from the University of Damascus in Syria. She completed her residency in Neurology and had her fellowship training in both Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Wehbeh is board-certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine.
