Flower Arranger
In support to the hospital, the flower arranger volunteer arranges fresh flowers and distributes arrangements to public areas.
- Pick up flower donations or purchase flowers.
- Prepare flowers for arranging including removal of dead flowers, placing useable flowers in water, and preparing florist foam for use.
- Pick up flowers throughout hospital.
- Arrange and distribute new arrangements.
- Ability to arrange flowers.
- Work effectively without direct supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to function as a team player.
This position description briefly describes this role's responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as determined to support the hospital. All volunteers are required to (a) notify designated staff member of any absences; (b) sign in and out when reporting to and leaving their volunteer assignment; (c) conform to established dress code including wearing hospital-issued name badge; (d) maintain confidentiality; and (e) adhere to annual compliance requirements as set forth by GBMC and its regulatory agency.
