Nearly New Sales Volunteer
In support to the hospital, the Nearly New Sale volunteers maximize sales of donated items by assisting in either sorting, pricing, and/or selling merchandise.
- Assists in the sorting, pricing, and selling of merchandise.
- Work effectively with others without direct supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to assess those needing immediate assistance.
- Attention to detail in an environment where public contact is constant.
This position description briefly describes this role's responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as determined to support the hospital. All volunteers are required to (a) notify designated staff member of any absences; (b) sign in and out when reporting to and leaving their volunteer assignment; (c) conform to established dress code including wearing hospital-issued name badge; (d) maintain confidentiality; and (e) adhere to annual compliance requirements as set forth by GBMC and its regulatory agency.
