Patient Representative
In support to the hospital, the patient representative gathers information from patients regarding the quality of services provided.
- Responsibilities:
- Gathers information (i.e., compliments, complaints, concerns, etc.) directly from patients regarding the quality of services provided and the patient's satisfaction or dissatisfaction with those services.
- Forwards above information to the clinical manager and marketing vice president.
- Competencies:
- Work effectively with others.
- Knowledge of wheelchair, cardiac chair, and stretcher safety features.
- Knowledge of proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
This position description briefly describes this role's responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as determined to support the hospital. All volunteers are required to (a) notify designated staff member of any absences; (b) sign in and out when reporting to and leaving their volunteer assignment; (c) conform to established dress code including wearing hospital-issued name badge; (d) maintain confidentiality; and (e) adhere to annual compliance requirements as set forth by GBMC and its regulatory agency.
