Lactation Support at GBMC

We are currently undergoing several internal and cosmetic changes in the Maternal Newborn Health Department. The "Lactation Station" store and all of the support services including breast pump rentals and sales, breastfeeding consultations, car seat installations, and parking passes are now under the care of the GBMC Parent Education Program.
In an effort to continue our support programs, the Lactation Department and Parent Education Program will continue running the Mother to Mother group on Tuesday at 10:00am and Family Care on Thursday at 10:00am. Postpartum Depression support will continue on the first and third Monday of every month from 7:00pm-8:30pm.
GBMC has a car seat installer and educator available by appointment. Learn how to correctly install your car seat with Cato Whittle, NHTSA Certified. Please call 443-849-2229, Option 2 for an appointment. The cost for the car seat installation/education consult is $30.00.
