It features 17 spacious, beautiful labor-delivery-recovery suites, creating a home-like atmosphere without compromising safety. Instead of being taken from one room to another, you'll be able to stay in the suite through the entire birth process and relax with your newborn during the initial recovery period following birth.
As an added reassurance, GBMC also has a , which is a regional referral center for premature and critically ill newborns. GBMC's family-centered approach continues during recovery. Your baby will remain with you when medical signs are stable. If necessary, your baby may be taken to the Newborn Nursery for further medical attention and join you later.
