Now What!  Finding the Support You Need.

Greater Baltimore Medical Center's special care even extends beyond the birth experience. Mother's discharged within 24 hours after delivery qualify for a home visit from a registered nurse, one or two days after leaving the hospital. In addition, every mom receives an educational mother and baby care videotape.

Once at home, mothers can join a mothers' support group and attend parenting classes to meet other parents, share information, and learn more about their precious newborns.

Prescription Delivery

Prescriptions can be filled at NeighborCare Pharmacy located at the hospital. Pharmacy staff will be happy to bring your prescription to your room before you leave. The pharmacy also carries a wide range of over-the-counter medicines and health supplies. Call 443-849-2828 or ask your nurse about this service. Home and worksite delivery is available seven-days-a-week. Once you are home with your baby, you may want to use this convenient service. For delivery, call (410) 296-RXRX.
