i would recommend this care provider to friends and family.
Dr Smalls connected me with a care coordinator available through my insurance that I wasn't aware existed
Dr. Small and his staff are excellent!
I have always felt that Dr. Small is a very caring and dedicated doctor to his patients. He is always easy to talk to no matter what my problem.
Dr. Small is an excellent physicisn.
My entire adult family are patients of Dr. Small - We all feel he's an excellent family care physician! THE BEST!!! [...] The quality of care is outstanding!!!
Dr Small is a very caring, knowledgeable physician and I am glad that he took over my care from my previous physician who retired.
Very professional, thorough, down to earth and made sure I understood and encouraged me to maintain my good health.
I COME AWAY KNOWING THAT DR. SMALL IS DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN TO HELP ME WITH MY HEALTH PROBLEMS. HE IS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING.
Dr. Small was very friendly and showed concern for my worries. He provided a lot of feedback on what I should do along with explanations that I understood. Dr. Small spent a good amount of time with me for my appointment and I left with a better understanding of what I needed to be doing.
Dr. Small is very compassionate, approachable and competent. I was very sick the first time I saw him and he was concerned and very helpful to get the tests I needed quickly, allowing me to be treated in an expeditious way. This was significant as I needed surgery.
Very caring and thorough, answered all of my questions, and v. good follow up on the mychart messages page. thanks
Doc could be a little more personable. Did a thorough job, but seemed disinterested/ambivalent.
As a cancer survivor, I have seen many many physicians at GBMC. Some have brilliant medical minds, some have outstanding bedside manner. Dr. Small is the perfect combination of the two. He's extremely knowledgable and compassionate, while at the same time has an uncanny ability to keep me motivated to stay on track with my health. I've never felt rushed during an appointment. I know he's an extremely busy physician, but I have NEVER felt that during a visit. He shows general concern for not only my health, but all the "personal" factors as well, which really means something to me. I trust him 100% and really couldn't feel more blessed to have him as my doc. Side note: the office is run like a well-oiled machine at Texas Station. I have never waited for more than a minute or two in the waiting room, exam room, or blood work. Whether I'm early or late, I get the same experience every time.
It's always a very positive experience coming to this office.
no problems. I would like to add if Dr Small is away the other Doctors and P A. are excellent.
This was my first time meeting Dr. Small and I think I have found my new Physician.
I thought he was excellent
I submitted a visit follow up question via the Portal based on the "Recommended Care" I saw in MyChart after the visit. It has been a week and the questions have yet to be answered.
very pleasant and knowledgeable
