Peter Claybour, MD was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, in a family of five boys. He played soccer throughout his childhood and went on to play intercollegiately at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where he met his future wife. After he graduated he worked in San Francisco, CA, developing children’s educational software. This experience plus his love of science drew him to medical school at Georgetown University, where he decided to pursue a specialty in pediatrics. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University. He and his wife have two teenage children, a daughter and son. In his free time, he plays tennis and golf, sings, does outdoor recreational activities, and spends time with his family. His focus is on general pediatrics and his philosophy of care is working closely with parents to raise children who will enter adulthood self-confident, independent and with a positive sense of self. He sees patients in the Towson office.
