Recognitions Achieved at the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute

December 2, 2021

GBMC has always been recognized for the quality of our medical staff, which was again confirmed in Baltimore magazine's 2021 Top Doctors issue. The issue featured an article on GBMC medical oncologist and hematologist Dr. Mei Tang. Dr. Tang was one of 17 physicians from the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute featured in the list of 135 GBMC physicians across 69 specialties. Several of GBMC's medical staff members were recognized in more than one category, and some have been recognized many years in a row!

In addition to Dr. Tang, other physicians from the Berman Cancer Institute included: George Y. Apostolides, MD; Ray G. Blanco, MD, FACS; Robert K. Brookland, MD, FACRO, FACR; Paul Celano, MD, FACP, FASCO; Delia R. Chiaramonte, MD; Joseph D. DiRocco, MD; Robert D. Donegan, MD; Ari H. Elman, MD; David S. Goldstein, MD; Sarah P. Fogarty, DO, FACS; Antonie D. Kline, MD; Kimberly L. Levinson, MD, MPH; Benjamin H. Lowentritt, MD, FACS; Arun Mavanur, MD, MS, FRCS; Geoffrey A. Neuner, MD; and Francis S. Rotolo, MD.

Being recognized as a “Top Doctor” is an extraordinary honor because it is a selection by peers. We are so fortunate to have outstanding surgeons, internists, pediatricians, family physicians, and other wonderful specialists. Congratulations to Dr. Tang as well as the others who were named 2021 Top Docs.
