Save an additional $50 per pay period on either health plan by not smoking. See HCI for resources on quitting smoking.

Plan for the Future

Retirement Savings:

The GBMC, Inc. Voluntary 403(b) Plan and GBMC, Inc. 401(a) Defined Contribution Plan are powerful tools to help you reach your retirement goals. As a supplement to other retirement benefits or savings that you may have, these Plans allow you to save and invest additional money for retirement! Not only will you defer taxes immediately, you may build extra savings consistently and automatically and learn more about saving and investing for your financial future.

403(b) Plan: A 403(b) plan, such as the GBMC 403(b) Plan, is a retirement savings plan designed to allow eligible employees to supplement any existing retirement and pension benefits by saving and investing through voluntary salary deferral. You can make contributions to the 403(b) plan on a pre-tax basis, in which case contributions and any earnings on your contributions are tax-deferred until money is withdrawn, usually during retirement.

401(a) Plan: The 401(a) Plan is a retirement savings plan designed to allow GBMC to supplement your retirement benefits. To be eligible to participate in the 401(a) Plan, you must be an active employee regularly scheduled to work in an eligible job classification.

Disability & life Insurances: These benefits are about having added peace of mind that you will have income in the event you face an extended illness or injury.

GBMC provides all full time employees with no cost, short-term disability insurance for up to 40% of their income. Long-term disability and life insurance are paid by the company. Dependent life insurance is available for purchase.
