What if it was your loved one?

Every child deserves exceptional care close to home. That belief is at the heart of everything GBMC does for children and families in our community. As Baltimore County's only dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department — and home to nationally recognized programs in genetics, craniofacial care, child protection, and pediatric hospice — GBMC HealthCare offers a continuum of care that few community hospitals can match. From the first prenatal appointment to the most complex childhood condition, our team is here with the expertise, compassion, and commitment that families deserve.

We offer family care services at GBMC Pediatric Group as well as multiple GBMC Primary Care locations. Our pediatricians focus on keeping children well by offering a range of services, including performing well checks, immunizations, treating illness and making referrals to specialty care providers. To find the location right for you, visit our service options below to find the care for your loved ones.

Pediatric Behavioral Health Services

We know that a child's mental health is just as important as their physical health — and that finding the right support can feel overwhelming. GBMC offers behavioral health services for children and adolescents at multiple points of care. Our primary care team provides evaluation and medication management for ADHD, anxiety, and depression, with video visits available so families can access care from home without missing work or school. For children who need a higher level of support, GBMC works in close partnership with Sheppard Pratt, whose multidisciplinary team — including licensed clinical social workers, counselors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and psychologists — is available to provide evaluation and connect families with the right next step. Virtual day programming is also available through our partnership with Charlie Health. To get started, call our office or send a message through MyChart and our team will help determine the right pathway for your child.
