Alexander T Aversano, DO

Dr. Aversano is an Internal medicine physician and unit medical director at GBMC. Dr. Aversano believes in building relationships with patients and families, open communication and prioritizing preventative care. Dr. Aversano focuses on providing education to patients and listening to their concerns to help them feel empowered in their health journey. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and has lived in the state for over 20 years. Additionally he is the physician representative for the inpatient wound/ostomy team that focuses on preventing and treating wounds in the hospital. Outside of the hospital Dr. Aversano enjoys traveling abroad, running marathons, weight lifting, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
