About Me
Dr. Alok Kumar grew up in a family of physicians who have served the Baltimore community for over fifty years, inspiring his own dedication to medicine and patient care. A native of Baltimore, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Kumar has been practicing as a nocturnist since 2022. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and values open communication and trust as the cornerstones of excellent medicine.
