About Me

Andrea Fontanez, FNP-C, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner with GBMC Health Partners Primary Care - Family Care Associates. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stevenson University. Prior to GBMC, she focused on delivering patient-centered, high-quality care in urgent and family care settings, including Family Medical Center in Mount Airy, MD, and ExpressCare Urgent Care in Westminster, MD. Andrea has experience with diverse populations and specializes in preventive care for all age groups. She is committed to engaging patients in their personalized plans by fostering strong patient-provider relationships.
