About Me
Elissa Trieu, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist who specializes in urogynecology and helping women achieve better health through advanced, minimally invasive surgical care. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Trieu has a special interest in treating fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and other complex, benign gynecologic conditions, always with a focus on techniques that reduce recovery time and help patients return quickly to their daily lives.
