About Me
Elissa Trieu, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist who specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and helping women achieve better health through advanced surgical care. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Trieu has a special interest in treating fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and other complex, benign gynecologic conditions. She offers a comprehensive array of minimally invasive surgical options—including robotic-assisted procedures, laparoscopic surgery, advanced hysteroscopy, and the Acessa system for fibroid treatment—all designed to reduce recovery time and help patients return quickly to their daily lives.
