Ellen T. Marciniak, MD

Ellen Marciniak, MD, is a pulmonologist with the Pulmonary Medicine group at GBMC, where she provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center, and her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. 

After fellowship, Dr. Marciniak joined the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she played an active role in medical student, resident, and fellow education and developed clinical interests in sarcoidosis, tobacco treatment and cessation, and both inpatient and outpatient COPD management. Her approach to the care of all pulmonary conditions emphasizes clear communication, evidence based practice, and partnership with patients in managing chronic respiratory disease. 

Dr. Marciniak is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.
