About Me
James Corkum, MD, is a highly experienced gastroenterologist with more than 30 years of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in the Baltimore area. Known for his compassionate approach and outstanding clinical skill, he specializes in all aspects of general gastroenterology with a particular interest in hepatology.
Before joining Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Dr. Corkum served as Medical Director of the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Clinical Associates, where he performed more than 2,500 endoscopic procedures each year and guided a busy, high-quality clinical team. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and completed his medical training and fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
