About Me
Kojo Amoakwa Jr., MD, MPH is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has been practicing hospital medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center since August 2023. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on clear communication, clinical excellence, and supporting patients and their families through every stage of hospitalization.
Dr. Amoakwa completed his internal medicine residency at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and also has a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His background in both clinical medicine and public health informs his holistic approach to patient care.
With extensive experience as a hospitalist in both the United States and internationally, Dr. Amoakwa is committed to improving patient outcomes while fostering a warm, respectful, and collaborative care environment.
