Oluyemi O Abiodun, MD

Oluyemi Abiodun, MD, is a dedicated member of the Hospitalist team at The Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Before pursuing medicine, she built a strong foundation in patient care as a Registered Nurse, spending two years working in the Public Health sector. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to service, equity, and advocacy—particularly for women and for communities that are disadvantaged or disenfranchised. 

A true global citizen, Oluyemi was born in the United Kingdom and raised across the Middle East and Africa. Her multicultural upbringing shaped her worldview and fueled her passion for travel, which remains one of her greatest joys. She also enjoys singing and writing, creative outlets that allow her to connect with others and express her experiences. 

Oluyemi graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to earn her medical degree with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine—affiliated with The Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals—before completing her residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

She currently resides in the Baltimore area where she continues to build her career while exploring the world, one country at a time.
