Shahrzad Taavoni, LA.c, Dipl OM, MACHM, BS

Shahrzad Taavoni, LA.c, Dipl OM, MACHM, BS, is a board-certified and licensed acupuncturist at GBMC. She earned her four years dual Master degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles, California in 2006. She is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has received extensive training in Five Element Acupuncture from Maryland Institute of Integrative Health. She has also received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park.
