COVID-19 Vaccination Begins For GBMC Employees
December 31, 2020We have begun offering the COVID-19 vaccine to its nurses, doctors, staff and employees. Emergency department physician, William Zirkin, MD, was the first recipient at GBMC to receive the vaccine.
GBMC HealthCare is excited to have begun the first phase of the State’s plan for COVID-19 vaccine administration. The State has prioritized healthcare personnel and residents of long-term care facilities to be the first to get vaccinated. GBMC Health Partners is following the State’s guidelines that do not allow us to vaccinate patients and community members yet, but we are looking forward to doing so as soon as we are able. Stay tuned for further information about getting a vaccine from us as soon as we are able!
