GBMC’s new home for cancer care, the Sandra R. Berman Pavilion, is now under construction. If you visit our campus—or even if you drive past the hospital on Charles Street—you’ll see the crane is in place and work has begun.

The first phase of construction will be a connection to radiation oncology. Plans call for the four-story garage to be completed by early November. Once it is open, the garage will not only improve parking at GBMC for all patients and visitors, but it will also give cancer patients direct access to the radiation oncology center.

As construction has begun, donors to the capital campaign have a new opportunity to memorialize their investment in the Berman Pavilion by choosing a feature of the building to name in perpetuity. GBMC Director of Major Gifts, Maureen McNeill, has begun meeting with individuals to confirm their selections.

If you have not yet made a gift to the campaign, please consider supporting the future of cancer care at GBMC. For more information about Sandra R. Berman Pavilion funding opportunities, please contact McNeill at mmcneill@gbmc.org or (443) 849-4328.
