Join us for the 11th Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes!

Friday, April 17, 2026

4PM

GBMC South Chapman

Our SAFE, Domestic Violence & Child Protection team provides trauma-informed care to victims of all ages in a confidential and non-judgmental environment — always at no cost to the patient. The team delivers comprehensive medical and forensic exams for victims of sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

Beyond emergency response, SAFE nurses also lead community education initiatives to help individuals recognize the signs of abuse, promote safety, and prevent future crimes.

Your support of Walk a Mile in Their Shoes directly strengthens these lifesaving services and raises critical awareness, bringing together hundreds of community members each year to stand with survivors.
