The future of cancer care at GBMC is here. The Sandra R. Berman Pavilion, designed to put patients first and to support multidisciplinary cancer care, has opened. Patients are meeting with their oncology teams, receiving life-saving infusions, and more in a building designed to meet the GBMC vision of providing every patient, every time, with the care we would want for our own loved ones.

Years of planning, millions of dollars in contributions from a generous community, and the steadfast commitment of the Board of Directors of GBMC HealthCare have made the Berman Pavilion possible. At more than 70,000 square feet, the building has room not only for individual patient care but also for Oncology Support Services, the Clinical Trials program, and the new boutique and salon.

The transformation of the Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute is nearly complete. The renovation of the Sheila K. Riggs Radiation Oncology Center is currently underway. A new linear accelerator is already in service and the vaults where patients are treated have been updated. As in the Berman Pavilion, design prioritizes patient needs and will serve the multidisciplinary care team well.

As the building lives up to its promise, we thank Capital Campaign Co-Chairs Dr. Geoffery A. Neuner and Jason Michael Berman for their dedicated leadership, Sandra and Malcolm Berman and the 650 donors who were inspired to follow their example. Their investment in the Sandra R. Berman Pavilion has yielded a facility that will deliver health, healing, and hope for generations to come.
