GBMC's Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute encourages you to be an active member of your loved one's care team. Additionally, we recognize the demands of caring for a loved one with cancer and understand that you may need support too. Our Oncology Support Services Center houses a Cancer Resource Center, which is designed to address the vast array of cancer-related informational and educational needs of both patients and loved ones.
Berman Cancer Institute physicians from a variety of disciplines are selected annually as best by their peers for the Baltimore magazine's "Top Doctors" issue. In addition, the Berman Cancer Institute offers more than 60 research and treatment clinical trials annually through its affiliation with several national cancer research organizations and its partnership with the Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Network. Approximately 150-200 patients are enrolled in research trials each year.
